MEET JEN

Adam and Jen have a deep love and understanding of the natural beauty surrounding the Acadia/Mount Desert Island area. Growing up, Jen paddled on Long Pond, and Adam roamed the woods on a 110-acre farm in Western Maine on the Appalachian Trail. 

Our paths crossed here in Bar Harbor working as local sea kayak guides in the summer of 1993, and we spent each and every summer here before eventually moving here year round in 2004 to raise our family.  Over the years, we have hiked, biked, paddled, and sailed every conceivable route on and around Mount Desert and are both involved as volunteers, deeply committed to sustainable community.

We raise our two children in our footsteps by getting outside and exploring in Acadia National Park together as a family as often as possible, and we would love to share that local expertise with your family and friends.
